As a member of Learner Circle, I embarked on this emotional journey, filled with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Our students have been immersed in Bharathanatyam lessons through online classes for the past three years. This journey culminated in a spectacular live Salangai Pooja event, where children displayed their talents onstage. A dedicated team from Learner Circle collaborated with the Malaysia-Andhra Association to make the necessary arrangements for this live stage show. The dance performance before the Twin Towers served as a captivating prelude to this grand event.
The day dawned with a touch of uncertainty, as the weather decided to play its part. The wind whispered through the city, carrying a hint of rain. Anxious thoughts crept in, wondering if nature would be kind to us. Nevertheless, the show must go on, and with a heart brimming with hope, we decided to dance.
The teacher meticulously arranged the students in a momentous gathering at the iconic Twin Towers, orchestrating a flawless dance to the timeless classic "Bhramam Okate," symbolizing the unity of the supreme consciousness. As the first notes of the music filled the air, a sense of unity and purpose enveloped us. I couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness, not just for myself but for the passionate dancers who were about to showcase their artistry.
