This course will help young drummers develop their coordination and independence on the drum set. This course is designed for beginner to intermediate level players. The course content will help develop sight-reading skills by working through the basic note values like a quarter, eighth notes.
Your child will be learning,
Unit 1: Introduction to Insights/ Types and Parts of Drums.
Unit 2: Understanding the rhythm and Types of beats.
Unit 3: Practice and Revision of basic level songs- Beat Training.
Unit 4: Beat training with kicks.
Unit 5: Brief Discussion on 4/4 Rhythm.
Unit 6: Introduction to Fills.
Unit 7: Brief Discussion on 1/2 Rhythm.
Unit 8: Introduction to Rock/ Offbeat Rhythm.
Unit 9: How To play with Metronome/ Identify any Beat.
It is important to attend all the classes without fail to get the best out of these learning sessions.
