Register to join International School Chess Tournament

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CHESS TOURNAMENT

Step 1: Learner Circle Expert Panel's decision is final in all aspects of the competition.

Step 2: Create your account if you do not have one at LICHESS.org well ahead of the tournament. 

Step 3: Join the Gmeet call link shared by the Learner Circle Team. Kindly join the Zoom call by 7:15 pm GST Dubai

Step 4: Log into LICHESS.org with your credentials created beforehand and Join the tournament link shared by the Learner Circle Team during the Zoom call. 

Step 5: You will automatically get paired with opponents and have to keep playing games as and when you get an opponent. You will get a 10 minutes + 5 seconds increment time duration for every game.
Step 6: After every game don't forget to join back the tournament arena by clicking on 'Join Back' button.
Step 7: This is a Swiss Tournament so after every round we will have a break of 1 minute.

 

 

Terms & Conditions:

• This is an online tournament on Lichess platform and Lichess' Terms and conditions apply. 

• The participant should be present in a Zoom Video call for the entire duration of the tournament. 

• The player should always have the video on.

• The player should not seek help from others or chess engines.

• Learner Circle has the right to disqualify any player who is found indulging in malpractice and not adhering to the rules.
