I am writing a review about the series called the inheritance cycle which is written by the author Christopher Paolini. This series contains 4 books. Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr, and Inheritance, and today I am writing about the first book Eragon. The genre of this book is fantasy. It is about a boy named Eragon who is a simple farm boy and a hunter. One day he goes hunting in the mountains to find food for his family and he only came across a strange blue rock as he could not sell it for food, he took it back to his house. Some days later the rock hatched and revealed a dragon. After that, the story is about how the boy decides to raise the dragon and become a dragon rider. The other books in the series are about how he defeats the evil king of the world who is also the only dragon rider left other than him. I liked this book because it is about dragons which I like a lot. This book is perfect for readers who like to read fantasy books about mystical creatures like dragons. The book is also very thrilling and it makes you feel like you are living the life of Eragon. I can assure you that once you read the first book you will somehow try to find the other books and complete the series.
