Plastic bottles are a major part of waste produced. Plastic takes around 1000 years to decompose. This year on Earth Day, my daughter and me engaged to reuse a plastic milk container into a planter. This would increase the lifecycle of the product, and thus reduce the impact of wastage on Earth. Taking inspiration from one of her favorite character, 'hello kitty', we gave shape to the container. In this process, her creative instincts and learning also got channelized. This activity was indeed a great experience to bond and appreciate things around us.
